Terrence V. Ravensworth
Terry came from a broken home. His father was a drunk and abusive. His mother took him and moved them into a one bedroom house on the edge of Veronaville. He was the local bad boy until the night he saw the girl in the park. She might not have been beautiful to anyone else but she was beautiful to him. When her parents kicked her out because she was dating him she moved into the house with him and his mother and then when they could afford it they moved into their own apartment. When Janet found out she was pregnant he gave up his dreams to become a musician and found a steady job.
A few years later, out of the blue, Janet heard from her father. He wanted to talk to them. Janet wasn't feeling well, they had just found out she was pregnant again, so Terry decided to go alone. Before he left he told Janet that he wanted to marry her. They had put it off long enough. He never made it back home.

Terry's story is so sad, I feel so bad for him and for Janet in this particular instance. So much that happened to his little girl revolved around his death. 80(
ReplyDeleteGreat job, wonderfully told!
Agree with Cherie, his and Janet's story is very sad... I bet everything would have been different if only he had come back home.... :( too bad, for Kaylee she had to pay for the broken dishes....
ReplyDelete@Cherie: I know! I think they would have been extremely happy. I did toy around with him not being dead but in a coma but then I thought about all the ramifications that would entail. Janet being who she is now isn't the same person he fell in love with and he doesn't know Kaylee anymore...I don't know. I just didn't want to go down that road. Then again I might change my mind later! :P
ReplyDelete@Sandy: Romeo and Juliet type thing going on with them. At least on her parents side. Everything would have been COMPLETELY different. And yes, Kaylee always seems to have to pay...
